Legend has it that John & Yo Ko spend two night here before starting their famous "Love-In" in 1969. (We cannot prove it,
but it's a good story and we are sticking to it!).
During the "Roaring Twenties"
the main house was a well
known "speak easy" and Ernest Hemingway, who wrote for the Toronto Star and lived up the street, was often seen enjoying a drink or three.
